ACTION: Interim Rules
SYNOPSIS: The Federal Acquisition Secretariat is issuing FAC 2005-32 to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Public Law 111-5) ("Recovery Act") in the following areas: (1) Buy American requirements for construction material; (2) whistleblower protections; (3) publicizing contract actions; (4) reporting requirements; (5) Government Accountability Office (GAO) and Office of Inspector General (OIG) Access; and (6) GAO access to contractor employees.
DATES: The effective date for these rules is March 31, 2009. Comments on these rules should be submitted no later than June 1, 2009.
