ACTION: Final and Interim Rules
SYNOPSIS: The Federal Acquisition Secretariat is issuing FAC 2005-05 to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in the following areas: (1) definition of information technology; (2) documentation requirement for limited sources under Federal Supply Schedules; (3) payment withholding; (4) confirmation of Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) certification; and (5) government property rental and special tooling.
DATES: The effective date for these rules is July 27, 2005, except the effective date for Items (3) and (5) is August 26, 2005. Comments on Items (1) and (4) should be submitted no later than by September 26, 2005.
