ACTION: Final Rule

SYNOPSIS: DOD is amending the DFARS to update titles, section numbers, and paragraph designations.

EFFECTIVE DATE: November 22, 2002.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: This final rule consists of the following technical amendments:

• DFARS 208.001, Priorites for Use of Government Supply Sources, and DFARS 208.002, Use of Other Government Supply Sources, are redesignated as DFARS 208.002 and DFARS 208.003, respectively. Also, in redesignated DFARS 208.003, paragraphs (f) and (g) are redesignated as paragraphs (d) and (e), respectively.
  
  
• In paragraph (b) of DFARS 208.7000, Scope of Subpart, the title of DOD 4140.26-M, Integrated Material Management for Consumable Items, is changed to "Defense Integrated Materiel Management Manual for Consumable Items."
  
  
• In DFARS Appendix G, Part 2, Army Activity Address Numbers, in entry "DABK15" for Fort Hood, TX, "Directorate of Contracting" is changed to "Contracting Command."
